Welcome!
**Updated 29 April 07: Five SGA stories**
Note: Inochi is on indefinite hiatus. I'll return to it at some point, but at the moment I have no idea when that might be.
Welcome to my place on the web. Here you'll find fanfiction and original fiction both. I've written in The Sentinel, Highlander, Popslash and more recently, Stargate Atlantis. My original fiction tends toward fantasy with an Asian flavor, and you'll probably also find my dabblings in shapechanger culture as well. Most of my original works are works in progress, and very lengthy.
I suppose, as I have fanfiction here, that the standardized disclaimer is in order. I'll just steal Mickey's---much easier than writing my own. Disclaimer Stuff: I don't own the rights to any of the television shows or actors, or people; no copyright infringement or libel is intended. This is for fun ONLY. Stories and original characters ARE mine; please respect that.
There. Not so painful after all.
On to the stories!
The Water Rushes - Zelenka/Kusanagi. Someday. Miko's been on Atlantis long enough, has calculated the odds of survival often enough that she knows someday might never come, but the thoughts curl sweetly in her chest, warm promises against the cold terror of uncertainty. NC17.
Gravitation - McKay/Sheppard. He'd learned over the course of several missions that if McKay could complain he was mostly fine and wow, had Rodney really put his heart into complaining then. John had tucked away some of the more colorful curses for later use; it would be a crime to waste such spectacular filth. PG13.
Where The Fruit Is - Zelenka/Lorne. Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where the fruit is. R.
The Best Portion - Beckett/Emmagen. That best portion of a good man's life/His little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and of love. NC17.
Keep Breathing - McKay/Zelenka. NC17.
Melting the Darkness - Zelenka/Sheppard. The morning steals upon the night, melting the darkness. NC17.
Somewhere Past Florin and Guilder - Zelenka/Parrish. Botanists throw the best parties. PG13.
World Cracked Open - Sheppard/Zelenka. It isn't enough. PG13.
Silent Lucidity - Zelenka/McKay. It is only here, in this time, in this place, that Rodney is quiet. NC17.
Unearthed - Zelenka/Beckett. An open face has been both blessing and curse his whole life. NC17.
White - Zelenka/Beckett. Good friendships often turn into more. PG13.

Sway - Chris/Justin. "I'm not 15 anymore." PG13. written for SeSa 2005.
Summer Days A-Berrying - Kevin/Nick. Everything tastes good in the summer. NC17.
Goals - No pairing. Justin has goals. Not rated.

The Lance Bass Song - Chris/Lance. A tale of love and lust, and toppy little freaks. NC17.
Polish - Chris/JC. Two boys, some nail polish, and a new understanding. R.
Drabble Page - A drabbles is a story in 100 words. Assorted pairings and ratings.

Tan Lines - Jim, Blair, some tanning oil, and an otherwise deserted rooftop. NC17.
It's About Trust - What's one of the key ingredients in a relationship? And do Jim and Blair have it? NC17.
Paper Cranes - The Japanese have a saying, "If you fold 1000 paper cranes, you'll get your heart's desire." Blair's on number 398, more or less.... NC17.
The Study Session - No one could ever accuse Blair of being less than diligent at his lessons -- what about Jim? NC17.

I am currently collaborating with Kai on a Methos/Kronos fic, set back in the beginning days of the Horsemen. From a simple idea, it has grown and grown and grown into something neither she nor I really didn't expect. It is a work in progress, subject to change without notice, and may contain grammar errors, and typos. I definitely rate it NC-17 for violence and sex, both het and slash.
Genesis - Some monsters are born. Others are made.
I left fanfiction for a while to write original fiction. I discovered I liked working without the safety net of having an entire world laid out for me. I started out with contemporary fic, but then drifted into fantasy---I loved the worldbuilding. From time spent in the anime fandoms, I discovered I liked that particular outlook, and so I began to research some of the customs, the legends, the practical aspects of life in ancient Japan. I began to incorporate them into my fic.
Currently I have one epic story (not finished) and a side-story (finished). The unfinished epic is Inochi, and I have a side-story, Mine, that goes with it. Both are NC-17 for violence and sex, both het and slash.
Inochi - A young man's coming of age amidst slavery in a world of demons and gods and magic.
Mine - A sidestory in the Inochi universe, featuring Hamanari and Kin'iro, two characters prominent in the main story. Written as a trade for a picture of Inochi, drawn by the very talented Pluto.

I have also been extremely fortunate to have Tina as a friend---she has drawn up some lovely pics of Inochi and Raiha, and I'm very proud of them. I now owe her a fic in exchange, and I hope she's very patient. *g* You will find them on the main index page for Inochi.
Note: Inochi is on indefinite hiatus. I'll return to it at some point, but at the moment I have no idea when that might be.
That's all for the moment. But like every writer, I have multiple unfinished files waiting patiently for attention. I'm rather like a magpie, easily distracted by shiny pretty objects, or in my case, shiny pretty boys. I have the best intentions to finish things, but in general, I write very slowly. I wish I didn't, but I've come to grips with the fact that I do. Stories will be finished, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them. *g*
Feedback or comments of any sort may be sent to me; any technical problems, please report to Mickey M; she's the smart one---I'm merely decorative. *g*
